About Our Business

OnCall Computers was started in my basement workshop in 1997 just as a way to help
friends. Overwhelmed with new friends, we moved to our present location in June of 1998.
When we first moved in, the landlord said "No business has been able to make it in this
location in years. You wont last the year." People have been telling me I couldn't do things for
years. It's been my great pleasure to prove them wrong. As long as you keep bringing me
machines that can't be fixed... I'll keep fixing them.

Services We Provide
Now entering our ninth year serving the computer needs of the greater New Haven area, We
are a full service retail computer store. We custom build desktops and laptops. We upgrade
and repair hardware and software. We offer refurbished systems, wireless networking, in store
and on-site service. In short, we'll do whatever it takes to satisfy you, the customer.
If you're looking for the cheapest computer money can buy... You've come to the wrong site. We
use only quality components. In fact, you can virtually build your own system by choosing every
component, manufacturer by manufacturer, model number by model number. You can rely on
us for suggestions or take the lead yourself.  We maintain a very small inventory because the
computer industry is the only industry where prices only go down. This, combined with the fact
that our distributors are large and local, allows us the flexibility  to deal with the latest and
greatest components and never find ourselves in the position of having to dump excess
inventory. You the customer get what you want, not what we want to get rid of.
